The new Trader Joe’s in Brookfield, WI located at 12665 West Bluemound Rd has finally opened their doors as of 8a.m. today!
I arrived there with my son in tow at 9:00 and the parking lot was already filled up. When we entered the store we were greeted with lei’s and there was also a face painting booth. The store was really busy by the time we left around 10:00.
When you checked out you received a free reusable Trader Joe’s bag. I also saw in back about 15 bags full of free food items that they were going to be giving away, but alas it was not while we were there.
You could feel the excitement as so many of us are excited to have a Trader Joe’s so close by! Everyone has their favorites and here are a few of mine:
-3 buck chuck – of course! – their signature wine at $2.99 a bottle – enough said.
-Orange Mandarin Chicken – $4.99 – our all-time favorite for a yummy & quick dinner that even the kids will eat.
-Sushi Party Platter – $6.49 – where else can you get a whole platter of sushi for this price?
-Moscato D’Asti – $7.99 – If you like sweet wine or champagne this is the best of both worlds – amazing.
-Fruit ‘leather’ – .55 per bar – my kids love these!
